Put Up Your Dukes is a fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness, understanding and widespread acceptance of mental illness and addiction with the goal of eradicating the stigma associated with these ailments.

Research shows that 1 in 5 people will be affected by some form of mental illness or addiction in their lifetime. 1.2 million Canadians under 19 have a mental illness that impedes their ability to live life to the fullest. Half of these children and youth battle serious drug or alcohol addictions at the same time known as concurrent disorder.

Put up Your Dukes is a non-profit third party charitable event associated with CAMH founded in 2011 by the Lewin Family after the tragic loss of Ryan “Duke” Lewin. Having fought a long battle with mental illness and addiction, Ryan took his own life at the age of 28.
